For the price you can't beat this. These business computers have an awesome reputation for quality, even when rebuilt. No more laptops for this guy, as these desktops are much better built and with more features than budget laptops.NEGATIVES (FIRST PURCHASE):But some changes had to be made from the original configuration before I was satisfied with things. There was no evidence of USB 3.0 jacks, none of the ports are blue in color nor did Windows reflect any USB 3 hardware. More importantly the WiFi was not strong enough for the range to this desktop, it resulted in dozens of disconnects daily. The new looking and packaged Keyboard had an issue that prevented typing faster than 30 wpm, it only worked correctly with slow typing. So if you hen peck type you wont mind it. Typing fast resulting in everything from reboots to worse problems. The new appearing mouse had a defect with the scroller dial... Some may not mind the limitation with browser clicks, but I found it very irritating. After I upgraded to a new gaming keyboard, and mouse, WiFi CARD (USB) - (one with dual antennas) the system is now perfect. Cost of keyboard, mouse and Wifi aprox $45.POSITIVES:The solid state hard drive is pretty fast on Windows. No issues with the cpu, memory or SS hard drive. Very quiet fans. Everything does appear new, the inside is very clean and looks neat and new. Despite the four previous issues, the computer is a good deal in my opinion.*UPDATE: We just purchased our second computer like this. These 2013 HP refurb business computers are much better built than the average new laptop that cost twice the price at least. This second computer purchase has ALL of the advertised features, WIFI (clearly marked USB dongle), USB 3 jacks (first one had no evidence of usb 3). Windows 10 is brand new with a customized install. Everything fired up correctly. No issues whatsoever. We are very happy. If we need a third we will come back here.
