Edit: Contacted support and I believe the problem was fixed so I will increase the number of stars to 4. If I remember correctly the solution involved changing the "Wake USB" setting in the BIOS.Original review:The computer randomly "goes to sleep" except permanently, meaning the monitor turns off, the keyboard stops working, and there is nothing I can do to wake it up. When this happens, the only thing I can do is to hold the power button to turn the laptop off, and then turn it back on again. But this is no good because when this happens I lose all my work, making this laptop completely useless as a Windows laptop. This happens to me about once or twice per day.Fortunately this only happens on Windows and not on my Linux dual boot, so I am at least able to use the laptop in Linux mode. On Windows mode I tried updating the drivers through Dell's website, but this did not fix anything. So I think Dell needs to fix some of its drivers.Good Dell ComputerMeets all my needs wellThis one has a super fast boot up time. The only issue I have so far is that the Capslock button had a light that worked when you clicked on it (so you know when it's enabled) but now it does not light up. The computer it self is pretty good. After doing so extensive research, this one was the "worth it" laptop that I needed. Good for school work and office work. Comes in "windows S mode" but its easy to switch out to a regular mode. All you need to do is install Chrome and google will tell you exactly what you need to do to switch out of the "S" mode. Screen quality isn't HD but you really won't notice the difference. I would have given a five star rating if it wasn't for the capslock issue. I wish they made this with a white color design.Update- Some vibrations and crack in sound but still working good.Love the big hard drive love the ram and romThe last time I bought a laptop was 2012 or 2014. OMG what a difference. This laptop is fast, has a great picture and sound. Did my first Google meeting and the quality was top notch. The laptop is so light compared to my last one. Got an external DVD/DVR which connected with ease. Great laptop!!I assumed it was going to be better and faster than my previous laptop, based solely on age. I did not do my homework about the processor speed and was a bit disappointed in that area. Laptop is very lightweight and performs decently.The details of this product should be changed. It is not a touchscreen.Its excellent for school
