I was hoping to pick up a nice laptop for a job that would be taking me away from home for a while, and this really came through! Got it as a refurb, and haven't had a single real issue with it yet. There was a week where it didn't want to take my PIN right away to log in, but that seemed to be a Windows issue rather than with the computer, and seems to have resolved since a recent update. The battery really doesn't last terribly long if you are actively gaming. Probably makes total sense, but it's a bit of a bummer to be 2 hours or less into a gaming session and getting the pop up that you are at 10% battery. If using as just a browser and in non-gaming mode, it probably would keep the charge a bit longer. Ultimately, though, it's a stronger and faster machine than my 6 year old desktop, to the point that I'm considering retiring the tower in favor of this plugging in to the mix. Documentation is somewhat lacking, even on Acer's website, and it has been a challenge figuring out exactly what the internal slots are, which is a bit of a bummer because 512 is a bit small for a hard drive on a gaming computer and I'm planning to put in a 2TB m.2 in the second slot.
